Martin specialises in singing Noel Coward at the piano. He recently presented a sell-out Noel Coward Cabaret in the restaurant of Chewton Glen, Hampshire - acclaimed as one of the world's best hotels - and also performed his carabet at the 2006 Brechin Arts Festival.
The Scottish Noel Coward Show
Martin's show includes Mad Dogs And Englishmen, The Stately Homes Of England and Mrs Worthington, cabaret songs such as A Bar On The Piccolo Marina and rarely-heard numbers like Something Fishy About The French.
Known as the quintessential Englishman, Noel Coward was actually half Scottish with a family line extending back to the 14th Century when his ancestors supported Robert the Bruce against the English! The Scottish Noel Coward Show includes fascinating detail on this little-known side of Coward.
Formats
Martin's shows can be a full sit-down performance of two 45-minute halves plus interval, or an entertainment running through a meal, or condensed into just 30 minutes.
'Sound alike'
Martin can sing an uncanny 'sound-alike' of Coward for cameo performances, radio, television etc.
